Our Bufo retreats are shorter in length, typically lasting 3 nights and 4 days. Though brief, this experience offers a powerful container for deep transformation, supported by expert facilitation, integration and a peaceful natural setting.At the core of the retreat is the ceremony with Bufo Alvarius (5-MeO-DMT), traditionally used by Indigenous peoples for spiritual insight and healing. Our ceremonial approach is inspired by these ancestral practices, with the utmost respect for the medicine and its sacred use.Because of its potency, our retreats are intentionally small and intimate, allowing for close support, proper preparation, and spacious integration.Each retreat includes preparation sessions, ceremony day, and guided integration to help you ground and understand what you experienced emotionally, physically and spiritually.

Guests should fly into Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in San José. From there, we provide a shuttle service to the retreat location. For guests who prefer a shorter travel time, domestic flights are available from San José (SJO) to the nearby airport in Quepos (XQP). We provide a shuttle service from the airport to the retreat location, which is situated near nature and secluded from the city. We will coordinate your pickup and drop-off to ensure a seamless travel experience.
